Industry Experience
Cory Simmons practices with the firm’s Equipment Leasing & Finance Group, representing banking and independent finance clients in a broad array of UCC-related matters ranging from sophisticated financing transactions and preparation of lease and loan documents to enforcing lessors’ and secured creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and state and federal court litigation. He frequently collaborates with attorneys in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Corporate Groups to be a one-stop-shop for the needs of equipment leasing and asset-based lending clients.
Cory earned his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School and his B.A. from New York University. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Ernest M. Caposela, A.J.S.C (Ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic Vicinage.
