Overview
The CSG Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Group is committed to effective, expeditious, and affordable resolution of disputes. We believe there are no intractable problems, only challenges begging for solutions, and we pride ourselves on creative problem-solving that drives positive, predictable outcomes and avoids costly and lengthy litigation.
An Exceptional Team
Our ADR team is comprised of former federal and state court judges, former federal prosecutors, trial lawyers, transactional attorneys, corporate counsel to New Jersey counties and municipal counsel, and former general counsel. Team members serve as arbitrators, mediators, facilitators, neutrals, special masters, special adjudicators, and hearing officers; regularly conduct neutral evaluations; and represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, and negotiated settlements. Applying the insight gained in those roles, we work closely with the parties to evaluate the risks they face, understand their business objectives, avoid contention, and resolve their disputes.
We seamlessly manage the ADR process – from forum selection to settlement negotiation, guiding parties through complex and thorny problems. Our neutrals stay with cases if they do not initially settle, working with the parties, bringing them back together, and finding the right timing and right solution to meet their needs.
In cases that demand industry or issue-specific knowledge, parties benefit from the counsel, experience, and resources of lawyers throughout our firm, including those practicing in banking and finance; construction; environmental law; manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution; mergers, acquisitions, and corporate law; real estate; trusts and estates; and other areas.
