New Jersey State Bar Association 2025 Annual Meeting & Convention: NIL (Name Image and Likeness) in the Real World
On May 15, from 3:15 – 4:45 pm, Patricia Costello, a Member of the CSG Law Executive Committee, will serve as a moderator at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting & Convention. Ms. Costello will be joined by Abigail J. Remore, Practice Group Leader of the CSG Law Trademark & Copyrights Group, and Emily B. Brown, Counsel in the CSG Law Intellectual Property Group, in the panel, “NIL (Name Image and Likeness) in the Real World.” Ms. Costello, Ms. Remore, and Ms. Brown will address recent developments arising from the new NCAA rules for lawyers, lawyer-agents and accountants who advise, negotiate and advocate for the amateur athlete, including ethical considerations. Additionally, they will cover rights to publicity, new case law, new legislation, new tax rulings, ethical challenges and more.
