Ross Pearlson Named to NJBIZ Leaders in Law List for 2026
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) congratulates A. Ross Pearlson for his recent recognition by NJBIZ’s Leaders in Law list for 2026.
The Leaders in Law program honors legal professionals – lawyers and general counsels – whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is outstanding, NJBIZ said.
“Ross is an outstanding litigator who has made a tremendous impact on the firm not only as an attorney but through his years of mentorship,” Managing Member Marie L. Mathews said.
Ross Pearlson is an accomplished litigator with more than 38 years of experience in complex civil litigation and white-collar criminal investigations and prosecutions, with an emphasis on health care and securities matters. He served as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group until January 2025.
Ross served as a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of New York, where he earned the Director’s Award from Attorney General Janet Reno for Sustained Superior Performance as an Assistant United States Attorney.
Since rejoining private practice, Ross has drawn on his understanding of prosecutorial strategy and his extensive investigative and trial experience to successfully represent clients in government investigations and civil and criminal litigation, primarily in the healthcare and securities industries.
In healthcare, Ross defends hospitals, surgery centers and other healthcare companies faced with allegations of Medicare and Medicaid fraud, as well as IFPA, FCA and RICO violations. He also represents doctors, physicians and other medical providers in government investigations and before regulators, including the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners.
In the securities context, Ross defends broker-dealers and institutional clients before the SEC and state securities regulators as well as in civil fraud suits and class actions.
Ross is an active member of several boards of the Anti-Defamation League of New York/New Jersey. In 2024, ADL presented Ross with the Edward Brodsky Founders Award, which is given to leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and service to the mission of ADL to secure a just and fair society.
An active member of NJ LEEP’s Advisory Board, Ross dedicates his time to mentoring inner city students in underserved communities and guiding the organization.
