CSG Law’s Francis J. Giantomasi and Marie Mathews Named to 2026 NJBIZ Power 100

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is pleased to announce that Executive Committee Co-Chair Francis J. Giantomasi and Managing Member Marie L. Mathews have been named to the 2026 edition of NJBIZ’s Power 100 list, a recognition of New Jersey’s most influential people in business.

Frank, a Member of the firm’s Real Estate Group, “is widely regarded as a leading figure in regional real estate, with a practice spanning acquisitions, sales, development, complex commercial transactions and chancery litigation,” NJBIZ said.

“Giantomasi has served as chief development counsel on some of the state’s most high-profile projects, including the long-term plan to redevelop 6.1 acres surrounding the New Jersey Performing Arts Center into a new, mixed-use arts district,” the publication said. “His client work also includes representing Netflix in its successful effort to transform the former Fort Monmouth Army base into a major production hub, the $35 million Newark Courtyard by Marriott hotel, and assisting Maher Terminals and Maersk affiliate APM Terminals in securing lease extensions in Elizabeth valued at more than $1 billion each.”

“Beyond his legal practice, Giantomasi has played a central role in the Roseland-headquartered firm’s expansion. CSG Law has exceeded $100 million in annual revenue since 2022 and grown to more than 200 attorneys. He also serves as chairman of the board of trustees for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.”

Marie, a Member of the Litigation Group, was appointed Managing Member in January 2025. She provides strategic direction to the firm as well as manages resources and leadership to CSG Law’s 200 attorneys and other professionals. In addition to its Roseland hub, the firm also has a growing office in Manhattan.

“Marie previously served in a variety of management roles at the firm, including as practice group leader of the Litigation Group and deputy general counsel to the firm,” NJBIZ said. “She also represents an array of clients in complex commercial litigation matters throughout the region. Among her past experience, she managed e-discovery for the developer of the $1 billion American Dream project at the Meadowlands in a contractual dispute with the New York Giants and Jets.”

The publication continued: “Outside of the firm, Mathews serves on the board of the Greater Newark Holiday Fund. Over the years, the group has contributed more than $12 million toward the betterment of thousands of families in the Garden State.”
