CSG Law Alert: Integrity Fee Payment Portal Opens Today
The annual EB-5 integrity fee payment for EB-5 regional centers for fiscal year 2025 (and any previously unpaid integrity fees from FY 2023 and 2024) are due between October 1 and October 31, 2024. Payments must be made through pay.gov and can be made with credit card or bank transfer. Instructions can be found here: EB-5 Integrity Fund (click on payment process).
Please note: USCIS has been sending letters to approved regional centers assigning a new regional center ID number for every regional center. This number must be used when making the integrity fee payment.
As a reminder, the fee is $10,000 for regional centers with 0-20 EB-5 investors and $20,000 for regional centers with 21 or more investors. An investor is counted if he or she has filed an I-526 or I-526E but has not yet filed an I-829 petition. If in doubt, include investors in the count because paying the wrong fee amount can lead to termination of the regional center.
