CSG Law Announces Milestone ISO Information Security Certification
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG Law”) is proud to announce that the firm achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification earlier this month. ISO 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for an information security management system (ISMS) as it covers more than 90 security controls across various systems such as Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Litigation support.
“The firm has generously invested in technology over the past five years, in areas like backend infrastructure, user end experience, redundancy and business continuity,” Hany Moussa, CSG Law’s Chief Information Officer, said. “This was the opportune time to seek the stamp of approval on operations and provide assurance to clients that the firm has appropriate policies and procedures in place to safeguard their information.”
ISO 27001 promotes a universal approach to information security: vetting people, policies, and technology. An information security management system implemented according to this standard offers range of the following benefits:
- Resilience to cyber-attacks
- Preparedness for new threats
- Data integrity, confidentiality and availability
- Security across all supports
- Organization-wide protection
- Cost savings
CSG Law is among a limited group of law firms with this designation. With the risk of ever-growing cyber-attacks, many clients require ISO certification. The firm plans to remain ahead of the curve, continuously improving its security and data protection to guard our clients’ information and interests.
