Clara Bergnier has experience representing clients ranging from start-ups to multinational companies across multiple industries such as technology, fashion, the arts, and hospitality. Her practice includes a high-volume caseload of non-immigrant visa applications and petitions as well as employment-based and family-based green card processes.

Before joining CSG Law, Clara managed a legal team as a managing director and business immigration attorney guiding clients through complex U.S. visas processes for a Manhattan immigration hub. At the same consulting group, she began as a paralegal and later served as a legal affairs manager, working on employment-based and family-based visa petitions, including E-1/E-2, L-1, H-1B, O-1, EB-1, and EB-2/EB-3. In addition, she was a volunteer at the Artistic Freedom Initiative, providing support on immigration-related matters.

Clara earned her Master of Laws in International Law and Justice, magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. She was the recipient of the James Leitner Award, awarded to the graduating LL.M. student in International Law and Justice with the highest cumulative average. There, Clara also studied at the Legal English Institute (LEI). Most recently, Clara has served as an adjunct professor for the LEI Tutorial at Fordham University School of Law.

Clara earned her Bachelor of Laws, with honors, from the Catholic University of Lille in France where she studied at the International and European Law School in the European, international, and comparative law program. She earned a multilingual degree, studying various legal systems (French civil law; English common law; Spanish public and private law) and gained an initiation into Mandarin Chinese.

Clara is fluent in English and French.
