Nicholas A. Grieco is Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group and a Member in the firm’s Litigation Group.

Nicholas focuses his practice on governmental and municipal litigation, commercial and business litigation, insurance defense litigation, tort litigation, breach of contract, corporate general counsel services, mediation and arbitration. He has extensive experience handling tort claims under N.J.S.A. 59:1-1, et seq., CEPA claims, LAD claims, and §1983 claims.

In addition, he has served as a Mediator, Panelist and Special Master in a number of federal and state litigation matters, and has served on both the Essex County Utilities Authority and the Essex County Improvement Authority as a Commissioner. Nick has also served on various committees including the United States District Court Merit Selection Panel for Magistrate Judge.

Nicholas earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1990, and his B.S.B.A. degree from the University of Delaware in 1987. He also clerked for the Honorable Carol Ferentz of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County.
